A MODFLOW groundwater model established dewatering requirements for works at a power generation site.

Construction works at a coastal power generation facility required an understanding of groundwater behaviour before excavation. A MODFLOW numerical model was built and calibrated for the site, producing the drawdown and discharge estimates the works programme depended on.
